Google Workspace automation

Make Google Workspace do the part you are doing by hand.

If your company already runs on Sheets, Gmail, Drive and Forms, you do not have to move anywhere else to stop doing the repetitive work. We write the Apps Script and the integrations that make those tools hand work to each other, so the copying and pasting stops being somebody’s afternoon.

Sound familiar?

The work a script should already be doing.

What we build

The work that moves out of your hands.

These are the builds we get asked for most. Nearly all of them start as one script and grow from there.

Document generation

One row of a sheet becomes a finished, formatted document. One click can produce hundreds of them, named and filed correctly in Drive.

Form to workflow

A Google Form submission that files itself: the record created, the document produced, the right person emailed, the folder made.

Gmail workflows

Drafts and sends triggered by what is in the sheet, threads labeled and routed, attachments pulled out and stored where they belong.

Reporting and dashboards

Numbers pulled together from every tab and source into one view that updates on a schedule, instead of a morning of assembly.

Outside connections

Sheets talking to QuickBooks, Stripe, your CRM, ClickUp, or anything else with an API, in both directions.

Custom menus and sidebars

Your own buttons inside the sheet, so the person doing the job presses one thing rather than following a written procedure.

How it works

Small, fixed pieces of work.

Workspace builds are usually smaller than a full system, so most of them are quoted as one fixed piece of work rather than a long phased plan.

Step one

Show us the sheet

We look at what you actually have and what the manual steps are. Screen share is enough. No cleanup needed first.

Step two

A fixed quote

You get a price for the build before it starts, along with what it will and will not do.

Step three

Built and handed over

The script runs in your Workspace, under your account, with a short written guide so your team is not dependent on us to use it.

Later

Changes when you need them

Hourly, as things change. Plenty of clients come back once a year, and that is a fine way to work.

A real one

One sheet, hundreds of documents.

Case study

Sheet data to hundreds of documents

A client needed a separate report for every employee in the company, each one showing that person’s compensation, health benefits, and vesting shares. All of it already lived in a spreadsheet. We built the generator that turns the sheet into every employee’s finished report in a single run.

Straight answers

Questions we get asked first.

Do we have to move off Google Workspace?

No. The whole point of this work is that you keep the tools your team already knows. Everything runs inside your own Workspace, owned by your accounts.

When does a spreadsheet stop being the right answer?

Google Sheets holds up better than people expect, and we will happily tell you to stay put. The usual limits are several people editing the same rows at once, a history you need to trust and audit, permissions where different people should see different records, and sheets so large they crawl. When you hit those, the honest answer is a real application rather than another script.

Who owns the code?

You do. It sits in your Workspace and your Google account, and any Apps Script developer can read and change it. Nothing is locked to us.

What about permissions and access to our data?

Scripts run under your own Workspace with the access you grant, and we ask for the narrowest permission that does the job. If you would rather we never touch live data, we build against a copy.

Can you fix a script somebody else wrote?

Often, yes. Inherited scripts that broke after the author left are a common reason people call. We will look at it and tell you whether repairing it or rewriting it is the better use of your money.
