Integrations

Get the tools you already pay for to talk to each other.

Most businesses do not need to replace their software. They need the pieces to stop depending on a person who copies numbers from one screen into another. We build those connections: data moving between your systems on its own, checked and logged, so your team keeps the tools it likes and stops doing the retyping.

Book a free brainstorm Thirty minutes, no pitch. Bring the list of tools you run and we will map it together.

Sound familiar?

A person is the connection between your tools.

What we build

Connections that hold up.

Every integration starts with what each of your systems will actually let outside software reach. From there, these are the builds we get asked for most.

Two-way sync

A record created in one system shows up in the other, and a change on either side carries across, so nobody enters the same thing twice.

Accounting handoff

Jobs, invoices, and payments delivered into your accounting software in the shape your bookkeeper expects to find them.

Sync watchdogs

A monitor that notices when a connection stops, tells the right person, and records what was missed so it can be caught up.

Getting data out of closed systems

Some software offers no clean way in. We work from exports, emailed reports, and whatever access the vendor allows.

Payments and messages

Charges tied to the right job, and texts or emails that go out when something in the record changes, without anyone pressing send.

The report your platform will not draw

An owner view built from your platform’s own data, for the numbers its built-in reporting leaves out.

We genuinely view Allen App Tools as an extension of our team — our integrations department.

How it works

Access first, then a price.

What an integration can do depends on what each vendor lets you reach, and that varies by platform and sometimes by plan. So we check before we quote.

Step one

Map what you run

Every system, what data lives in each, and which direction it needs to move. Usually one conversation.

Step two

Verify the access

We confirm what your accounts can actually reach, so the plan is built on the real connection and not on a sales page.

Step three

A fixed price per phase

Each connection is quoted before work starts, beginning with the one that removes the most retyping.

After launch

Watched and maintained

Vendors change their software. Upkeep runs on an hourly contract, so a change on their end gets handled on ours.

A real one

A file every fifteen minutes, and nobody touching it.

Case study

Gmail, Sheets, and the ClickUp API

A client’s desktop software sent out a data file by email every fifteen minutes, and what was in that file needed to update tasks in ClickUp, the project management tool the team ran on. We built the pipeline through Gmail, Sheets, and the ClickUp API that picks up each file and updates the tasks, so the board stays current without anyone copying data into it.

Build notes

Already running one of these?

For dozens of platforms that service businesses run on, we have written up what an integration could do: the gaps their own users point out, and the builds that would close them. These are ideas rather than client projects, and a good place to start the conversation.

Straight answers

Questions we get asked first.

Do we have to replace any of our software?

No. Integration work exists so you can keep what is working. If one of your tools turns out to be the actual problem, we will say so, but that is a separate conversation.

What if our software does not have an API?

Plenty of platforms do not, or keep it behind a higher plan. There is often still a way through, such as scheduled exports or emailed reports. Before you pay for anything, we tell you what is reachable and what is not.

Why not just use Zapier or Make?

For simple handoffs where a missed step is no big deal, those tools are fine, and we will tell you to use them. When the process is critical, needs logic those tools struggle to express, or breaks often enough that someone babysits it, a custom connection is easier to trust and easier to fix.

What happens when a vendor changes their software?

It happens, and it is the main reason integrations need an owner. We build in monitoring so a broken connection gets noticed, and upkeep afterward is hourly, so you only pay for the changes that actually come up.

Who owns the integration?

You do. The code and the accounts it runs on belong to your company, so you are never locked to us to keep it running.
